Sumatu.com was bought in the summer of 2002, sometime in July, from IpowerWeb.com. It is now hosted at Lunarpages.com, seeing as IpowerWeb is made of newfound suckage.

I first created this website on April 15, 2001, as a shrine to the character Bra/Bura from Dragonball Z when I was 13. I made it on a crappy MSN website and called it Bura's World. My inspiration was from a lovely Bura shrine, probably the first ever one, called Blinded by the Blue. From there I moved to AOL, and then to Geocities, before changing the name to Blue Angel and getting hosted by Sunset-Tears.net. When my host closed I purchased my own domain seeing as the site was becoming very popular. Since then it has undergone many face lifts and personality changes, evolving from a character shrine to a personal site and blog. After a long hiatus, I am now using Sumatu as a portfolio site of sorts.

The word "sumatu" has no real meaning. It's just a funny word that resulted from the misspelling of another word. You pronounce it soo-muh-too.
